Ato Getachew Negera has become a Member of CBE’s Board of Directors again since February 2021, having served the board earlier from 2010-2017. At present, he advises the Minister of Finance on matters of tax policy and public financial management. He had also served various organizations in various capacities, including the Oromiya Regional Government Finance Bureau as Budget Department Head and the Ministry of Finance as Assistant Budget Expert. He holds a Master’s degree in International Business, another one in Regional and Local Development Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
