The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) inaugurated the first ever Customer Contact Centre in Ethiopia’s financial industry on Saturday, February 10, 2018.
Speaking on the occasion, CBE President Ato Bekalu Zeleke said the centre is of world class standard equipped with technology that helps achieve service excellence.
The facility would serve as information centre from which the public would get any service related information and professional advice, he added.
The centre could be contacted from all parts of the country through toll free line 951. It has also a dedicated line for the staff who seek technical assistance in connection with service provision.
Geda Building, which houses the Customer Contact Centre, the Interest Free Banking Process and Pawlos Branch of the bank, was also inaugurated on the occasion.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by presidents and vice presidents of private banks, CBE’s management members and invited guests.
